Clock Tower Beach at the Old Port of Montréal

Old Montréal and Old Port

Located at the base of the Clock Tower, erected in 1921 to commemorate the brave Merchant Navy sailors who disappeared during World War I, the beach can accommodate up to 800 people. At 45 metres high, the top of the tower offers a spectacular view of Montréal, while the base provides a fun and friendly environment with a unique holiday atmosphere. The stretch of silky sand has beach umbrellas and weeping willows, brightly coloured chairs and fixtures, showers and mist stations, a wooden boardwalk and a refreshment stand – all accessible via a giant stairway ramp.
