Our partners

We understand the importance of teamwork, and that’s why we use a collaborative approach to hosting major events in our city. Sports Events Montréal is your first point of contact to connect you to a vast network of stakeholders in the fields of sports, event management and hospitality.

At their core, sporting events are tremendous opportunities to bring people together. Montréal understands the important contribution that sports events and sports tourism makes to our city’s economy. We are a city that is serious about sports.

When you’re backed by a great team, great things happen.

Montréal meets all of the criteria for hosting sports events. Backed by the confidence, will, and involvement of a wide variety of stakeholders — such as sports federations, athletes, officials, event promoters, and government authorities — Montréal is becoming a city known worldwide as a prime destination for sports events of all sizes.

Montréal knows the power of teamwork. Along with the Group of Sports Events Partners, we adopted a shared sports events strategy in 2016. The Strategy formalizes the efforts made by the sports event stakeholders and sets guidelines to better position Montréal as a first-rate Olympic city and sports town. We invite all sport events promoters to read our strategy including the five investment principles for selecting sports events.

By working together with a team approach, we make a coordinated effort to identify, bid on and then collaborate to host a wide variety of sports events. From touch down to take off — and every moment between — Montréal is in the game with you.
