Windsor Station

Rising above Place du Canada near the Bell Centre, Windsor Station was once the hub of Canada’s railway system. Built in the late 19th century for the Canadian Pacific Railway, by the same architects as the Château Frontenac and the Banff Springs Hotel, it is considered one of the oldest and most striking examples of Romanesque Revival architecture.

The station no longer handles passengers, but is now a prime venue for large-scale events. With its courtyard and terrace, it can accommodate over 2,500 guests. The Salle des pas perdus, a former grand lobby, showcases an expansive hall complete with an impressive skylight, bathing the spacious room in natural light and affording a remarkable vantage of the city skyline.
